DON’T SPEAK PORTUGUESE? THAT’S OK. When something goes wrong on holiday, knowing who to contact or how to explain what has happened can be difficult, especially if you don’t speak Portuguese. Our multilingual team is here to make things easier, helping you communicate, understand what is happening and get the right assistance when you need it. Our team can assist you in:
🇵🇹 Portuguese | 🇬🇧 English | 🇫🇷 French | 🇳🇱 Dutch | 🇩🇪 German | 🇪🇸 Spanish

You do not need a fixed address to use iMergencies. If you are travelling by motorhome or moving between different places during your stay, simply let us know when you register. Add your vehicle and insurance details, emergency contacts and any other information that could be useful if you need our help while you are on the road. In an emergency, press the SOS button in the iMergencies app. Your location is sent directly to our team, so we know where you are and can coordinate the right assistance, even if you do not know your exact address. Your subscription includes access to the iMergencies SOS app. If you need emergency assistance, open the app and press the SOS button. After you confirm that you need help, the app sends your current location and identification details to our 24/7 emergency team and connects you directly to us. Because we already have access to the emergency information you chose to add to your secure iMergencies file, you do not have to explain everything from the beginning. We can quickly see who you are, where you are and any important information that may help us assist you. This is particularly useful when you are travelling and may not know your exact address or be able to explain precisely where you are.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR EMERGENCY-SERVICES
iMergencies Our TouristCare explained

An emergency is not the time to search for an address, look for an insurance number or try to remember important medical details. Before your trip, you can add useful information to your secure iMergencies file through the Member Portal. You decide what information you would like us to have available.

This could include:

  • Important medical information
  • Your accommodation or holiday home address
  • Emergency contacts
  • Key holder or key safe details
  • Directions to a property that may be difficult to find
  • Vehicle and insurance details
  • Information about pets travelling or staying with you
  • Anything else that could help us assist you
  • Having this information ready means less time spent searching for details or answering questions during a stressful situation.
  • It allows our team to understand your circumstances more quickly and focus on getting you the right help.
